Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust to Break Ground in Callaway

CALLAWAY – There will be a groundbreaking ceremony for the community of Callaway on Tuesday, December 6 at 11:30 a.m. for an affordable housing project in the village at 906 East Pacific Street.

The Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund will be sponsoring the project, as will the Custer County Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) and the Central Nebraska Economic Development District (CNEDD).

Several prominent speakers will help celebrate the initiation of the project, including Village of Callaway Chairman Mark Kimball, Lieutenant Governor Mike Foley, Nebraska District 43 Senator Tom Brewer, Keith Ellis of the CEDC, and the Callaway Chamber’s Ken Pitkin.

A reception will follow at the Callaway Senior Center after the groundbreaking.
