NORTH PLATTE – The Nebraska Department of Transportation has announced that work will begin May 15 on County Road 418 in Dawson County, weather permitting.
Midwest Infrastructure, Inc. of Lincoln is the contractor for the project. Work will include replacing a county road bridge at East Midway Lake, southwest of Cozad. Anticipated completion is October 2023.
Traffic along the road will be diverted to N-21 during the bridge replacement.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to stay off cell phones while driving.
