When the snow, rather than dust, settled across central Nebraska, everyone grabbed for their rulers or measuring tapes to see exactly how much of the white stuff had fallen.
Heavy snowfall started late Tuesday night across the KCNI/KBBN listening area and beyond. Snow continued to fall through Wednesday before a little wind picked up and caused some heavier drifting.
The highest snowfall measurements were concentrated across portions of Custer County, with several locations receiving over 20 inches of snowfall. Below is a list of storm total snow accumulations provided by the National Weather Service as of 10AM CT Thursday.
