N-61 Asphalt Resurfacing in Grant and Arthur Counties

NORTH PLATTE (Nebraska Department of Transportation)--Weather permitting, work will begin August 7 on an asphalt resurfacing project on N-61 between Arthur and Hyannis, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. The project will resurface 12.79 miles of N-61 located in Grant and Arthur counties, starting just north of the Village of Arthur at R.P. 125+22 and extending north to R.P. 137+99. The work will be performed under daytime lane closures using pilot cars and flaggers. This project is anticipated to be complete by mid-September 2017. Motorists are reminded to be extra careful in and near highway work zones, and to buckle up every trip.
