Melham Medical Center seeking community help with needs assessment

An update of the 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) is underway, an effort spearheaded by Jennie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center and area community leaders. The groups are requesting the help of community members in identifying current healthcare delivery and unmet resident needs.

A recent press release stated that the goal of the assessment is to understand progress made since the last assessments conducted in 2022, 2019, and 2016 while at the same time collecting up-to-date community perceptions and ideas. The countywide research project is being conducted by VVV Consultants LLC of Olathe, Kansas.

A link to the CHNA can be found here, as well as the Melham Medical Center website.

Participants are asked to complete the survey by the 31st of March. A town hall meeting to discuss the findings and identify unmet needs will be held on Thursday May 15 from 5:30 until 7 PM.

Questions regarding CHNA activities can be directed to the hospital at 308-872-4100.
