March events at Broken Bow Library

The Broken Bow Library is chock-full of fun events in March.

Thursday, March 6th ages 14 and up are invited to the silent book club, where you bring or borrow a book and read silently for 45 minutes, then come together and talk about what you’re reading. Reading commences as 6pm.

Get ready for an epic night of fun and games at the library’s Mario STEM Family Challenge. The event takes place Monday, March 10th from 5:30-6:30pm. Call or sign up at the front desk, 308-872-2927.

The Teen Advisory Board meets to plan programs and give recommendations for the teen library Wednesday, March 12th from 5:15-6:05pm.

All ages are invited to a “bring your own craft night” on Thursday, March 13th from 5:00-6:30pm.

A six week Turtle Camp for 3rd-5th graders starts Tuesday, March 18th from 4-5pm. Space is limited, so call 308-872-2927 or stop by the front desk to reserve your spot.

Teens can vote on their favorite Oreo cookie flavors Friday, March 21st at 4pm.

The take a break book club meets at Noon on March 25th. Stop by the library and pick up a copy of Stripped Bare by Shannon Baker.

Nebraska art and soul will be at the library on Tuesday, March 25th from 5:00-6:30pm. Stop by before March 24th to sign up for the welcome mat painting workshop. There will be a $10 deposit.

Finally, ask the front desk for a March Scavenger Hunt sheet. Spell out the mystery sentence and bring your sheet to the front desk to collect your prize!
