The Broken Bow Middle/High School cafeteria will be home for Missoula Children’s Theatre auditions of The Secret Garden on Monday, October 9 from 4:00-6:00 pm.
Auditionees should arrive at 4:00 and plan to stay for the full two hours.
Organizer Cindy Ogle told KCNI/KBBN that the audition costs are minimal.
“Parents of children auditioning will need to sign a permission slip saying that they agree for their child to audition. There is a $5 nonrefundable audition fee and a maximum of $15 per family.”
Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.
Approximately 50-60 roles are available for local students. All students, grades Kindergarten through 12th grade are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary.
Most students rehearse approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes each day, Monday through Friday. Performances are scheduled for Saturday, October 14, at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Broken Bow Middle School Auditorium.
THE SECRET GARDEN is part of the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s unique international touring project and is presented in Broken Bow by the Custer County Children’s Theater Association with the help of BBPS, The Custer County Foundation, Grocery Kart, and many other local businesses and donors.
