Cherry County Attorney Eric Scott, has announced that in Cherry County District Court on Friday, November 17, 2023, Kevin T.
Kilmer, age 28 of Valentine, was sentenced to life in prison for the crime of Murder in the First Degree and 10 to 14 years for the crime of Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.
Kilmer was convicted of both crimes in Cherry County District Court on August 8, 2023, after a week–long jury trial.
