Family, friends, and customers gathered to support Jared Kahnk as he cut a ribbon to signify joining the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce on Friday.
Jared’s business, Kahnk Lawncare, started business on April 1 of 2024. Kahnk said that he has always enjoyed the version of work he offers and he knew for a long time he wanted to start a business in Broken Bow.
“Growing up I always helped my parents with lawncare, planting flowers, just mowing the yard and it didn’t seem like an un-enjoyable thing for me, it was something I always enjoyed to do. So when I was able to come back to Broken Bow I figured I might get into something that I would wake up and be excited to do every day,” said Kahnk.
Kahnk’s business offers both spring and fall cleanups including flowerbeds, gutters, leaves, and twigs in addition to mowing and trimming grass plus snow removal in the winter.
Right now Jared is the only one you’ll see in a Kahnk Lawncare truck heading to customers in Custer County, but he said as the business grows he would be excited by the opportunity to add team members.
Those wishing to hire Kahnk Lawncare can reach Jared by call or text at 308-870-3108 or by emailing [email protected].
