Itinerant Merchants and Vendors, Vendor Permit Fees Once Again on City Council Agenda

The Broken Bow City Council will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28th, in the Broken Bow Municipal Building. Under new business, the Council will consider approving the sale of surplus real property valued over $5,000, as well as hold a public hearing regarding a lot split application for Arrow Seed. Also on the agenda are public hearings for Ordinances 1282 and 1283. Those ordinances deal with establishing business permits and regulations for itinerant merchants and vendors and amending vendor permit fees. Considerable discussion was held during public hearings on those ordinances during the May 14th Council meeting. The Council will also consider a temporary street closing to facilitate a car show fundraiser for the Custer County Museum on July 13th, and a temporary closing of South A Street by Tyke Arnold Field. Appointment of a City Treasurer is also on the agenda. Mayor and Council comments will close out the meeting.
