Ansley Firefighters were busy last Thursday night putting out a structure fire along Mason Road and five miles east of Ansley.
The fire was called in at 6:55 pm, and the Ansley VFD stayed until 3 am, making sure there were no more flare ups. The house was deemed a total loss.
Fire chief Travis Harrop said there was no one occupying the house when they responded.
Ansley Fire was assisted at the scene by Ansley Rescue and the Broken Bow, Litchfield and Mason City fire departments.
