SARGENT – At about 11:00 a.m. a house fire was reported in Sargent.
KCNI/KBBN observed a ventilation hole that was cut into the roof of the house.
Sargent Fire and Rescue along with Comstock and Broken Bow Fire and Rescue with local authorities were on the scene.
Sargent Fire Chief Reece Jensen told KCNI/KBBN that a candle in the bathroom is what started the fire. There is smoke and fire damage which fully totaled the bathroom.
