The 2025 concert lineup for Gothenburg’s Livin’ Out Loud was recently announced by the event’s board of directors. Once again, the show will include some of Christian contemporary music’s biggest names.

Music fans of all genres gather each year in Gothenburg for the uplifting outdoor music festival, taking in a diverse offering of music including country, pop, classic hymns, and even a touch of rock. At the center is a common theme: a Christ-centered message.

This year’s show will start at 4:45 PM on August 16 at Lake Helen in Gothenburg. Claire Leslie will take the stage first, a vibrant young artist with a fresh alternative pop sound with captivating melodies and heartfelt lyrics.

The Band Reeves, featuring brothers Jeramy and Cody Reeves of east Texas, will hit the stage next. They say their music has been heavily influenced by country and rock backgrounds. Music has been a part of their lives for as long as they remember, with Jeramy starting guitar at age 12 and Cody singing before he started school.

The brothers now travel across the nation sharing the message of hope through their songwriting and performances, deeply rooted in their Christian faith. Their latest EP, “Traveler”, released in 2023, reflects their Southern heritage with meaningful lyrics and engaging harmonies.

Next to take the stage will be Charity Gayle, who grew up in Buffalo, New York where her mom directed the church choir. Spending two years in Nashville in 2014-2015, her focus turned to bridging the gap between worship and gospel music. Her first record “Lord You Are My Song”, debuted at #1 in the Christian and gospel genre in January 2018. Most recently, Charity received a Dove Award for the song, “Benediction (As You Go)”.

As evening sets in, the audience will be treated to the sounds of We Are Messengers. Fronted by Irishman Darren Mulligan, We Are Messengers has built a career on the road – touring relentlessly across the U.S. and Europe. They have had 11 consecutive top 10 radio singles including the multi-chart #1 hit song “Come What May” and the Gold certified “Maybe It’s OK”.

“The goal has always been to engage culture in the conversation about the goodness of God, and to put words and melody to some of the hardest things we feel as humans,” the group said.

The Saturday night concern will conclude with Tauren Wells, who for nearly a decade has quietly galvanized, energized, and inspired audiences worldwide. Among many accolades, he has impressively garnered 10 GRAMMY Award nominations and eight GMA Dove Awards in addition to nods at the Billboard Music Awards, BET Awards, NAACP Image Awards, and more.

Gathering 1 billion-plus worldwide streams and nearly half-a-billion views, he has notched seven #1 hits at radio and three consecutive Top 5 debuts on the Billboard Top Christian Albums Chart. His catalog has expanded with two RIAA platinum-certified singles—“Known” and “Hills and Valleys”—and two gold-certified singles, namely “God’s Not Done With You” and “Famous For (I Believe).”

The morning after the concert, a gathering will be held back at Lake Helen in front of the stage for a community worship service led by The Band Reeves.

There is no charge to attend Livin’ Out Loud, which has been the case since the 2013 inception of the event. Put on by the Christian community of Gothenburg, it is funded entirely by sponsorships and private donations.

Food trucks will be on site and artist merchandise will be available as well. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged as no seating is provided.
