CHI Health Good Samaritan Foundation recently awarded $13,000 in scholarships to 13 area students whose field of study includes a career in healthcare.

Shyann Kusek, Loup City–Don & Delores Williams Endowed Scholarship

Kendra Noe, Kearney–Bernard Haag Endowed Scholarship   

Evangelina Olivera, Pendleton, OR–Ron & Carol Cope Endowed Scholarship  

Isabel Roberg, Kearney–Don & Delores Williams Endowed Scholarship

Madison Thesenvitz, Wood River–Ron & Carol Cope Endowed Scholarship  

Ellie Wells, Broken Bow–Dr. H. R. & Mrs. Suz Walker Endowed Scholarship/LeRoy E. Rheault Endowed Scholarship

Since 1989, the hospital’s Foundation has awarded $273,641 in scholarships to 403 future nurses, respiratory therapists, paramedics and other health professionals. Generous donors make the scholarship program possible.
