Game and Parks identifies sight-in opportunities for hunters

The hunting season is approaching, and hunters are encouraged to fine-tune their gear and skill at shooting ranges across the state by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

A updated list of public and private ranges has been compiled to help hunters prepare.

“Now is the time to make sure your firearm or bow are shooting straight and hitting the mark,” said Kyle Gaston, Nebraska Hunter Education coordinator. “Spending time now with your equipment can make all the difference in having a safe and memorable hunt this year.”

A list of participating shooting ranges can be found at this link, which includes hours of operation, dates, applicable costs, and more:  https://outdoornebraska.gov/hunt/prepare-to-hunt/sight-in-days/.
