Frontier Lawn & Sprinkler LLC cuts ribbon with Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce

A new chapter in local business unfolded today as two familiar names in the community officially joined forces. What began as separate ventures—Kahnk Lawn Care and Sprinkler Works—has now merged into one unified company: Frontier Lawn & Sprinkler LLC.

Stephanie Grafel, representing the Broken Bow Chamber Office, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the milestone. The event highlighted not only the new business but also the strong roots both owners have in the community.

Co-owner Caleb shared insight into the wide range of services the company provides. Frontier Lawn & Sprinkler specializes in underground sprinkler installation and repair, along with weekly lawn mowing, spring and fall cleanups, snow removal, landscape curbing, and general landscaping. While some services are seasonal—like snow removal depending on weather conditions—the company remains active year-round meeting the needs of local residents. For more information about their services call or text Caleb at 308-870-4493 or Jared at 308-870-3108.

One standout offering is decorative concrete curbing. Caleb explained that this service replaces traditional metal or plastic edging with a more durable and visually appealing concrete border that outlines landscape beds.

When it comes to customer communication, the team recommends texting as the most reliable method. Due to the nature of their work—often surrounded by loud equipment like mowers—phone calls can be difficult to answer during the day.

The event concluded with a ceremonial ribbon cutting, marking the official launch of Frontier Lawn & Sprinkler LLC. As Chamber members, Caleb and Jared expressed enthusiasm for serving the community and growing their business.

The business also handles landscaping enhancements such as mulch and rock installation. “We’ve already completed quite a few mulch jobs this year,” Caleb noted, emphasizing their active start to the season.

Both owners bring years of hands-on experience to the venture. Caleb began working with sprinkler systems as young as 10 years old, learning the trade from his father. Now in his fifth year of running his own operation, he credits those early lessons for shaping his skills and work ethic. Jared, the co-owner, is entering his third year in the lawn care business and similarly attributes his foundation to the guidance of his parents.
