Thirty-six Custer County students land spots on UNK’s spring dean’s list

KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska-Kearney has released its dean’s list for the 2023 spring semester, with students from nearly every corner of Custer County earning spots on the list.

In order to qualify for the list, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours and maintain a 3.5 GPA or better on a 4.0 scale. Courses taken on a credit/no credit bases, such as internships and teaching, aren’t counted toward students’ total GPA.

Thirty-six students from 11 Custer County towns qualified for UNK’s dean’s list. Broken Bow had the county’s largest representation on the list with 11 students; Sargent had the second-most with 5.

Overton and Callaway each had 4 students qualify for the dean’s list, followed by Anselmo and Ansley with 3. Merna claimed 2 students on the list, and Comstock, Mason City, Arnold, and Oconto each had one.
