Flooding, Hail, High Winds, And Possible Tornados In Monday (8/30) Storm

The National Weather Service is keeping an eye on a potential storm that could produce damaging winds, large hail (2″+), localized flooding, and a tornado this afternoon and evening.

Isolated showers and storms through midday (mainly north-central Nebraska) will begin to develop into strong to severe storms by early evening in the west and grow in coverage as they move southeast after dark. Most storms should move out of the area by 3 AM CT.

Storm coverage will be limited at the onset, but whatever storms form may rapidly become severe.
