All Nebraska Game and Parks rules and regulations apply. Fishers must have a fishing license and a park pass. To buy a permit, go to outdoornebraska.gov.

Participants can pre-register by contacting Hunters For Youth at (308) 850-8668 or (308) 870-2358. Participants can also register on the day of. They will take cash or card.

Nicole Anderson from Hunters For Youth explained that the tournament is a fun fundraiser, and anyone can participate, no matter their fishing skills or experience.

“I know tournament kind of has a taboo of you need to know what you’re doing and you need to be really good at it. And with this, that is not necessarily the case. We want anyone and everyone to just come out and have a good time and enjoy the water and catch some sun and hopefully catch a lot of fish,” stated Anderson.
