BROKEN BOW – The Broken Bow EMS team has opened registrations for its first annual “Run for Your Life” 5k race, scheduled for Saturday, May 13.
The event will begin at Melham Park at 9 a.m., with in-person registration and packet pickup. The race itself will get underway at 10 a.m., with the finish line at Kinkaider, complete with a display of EMS vehicles. A meal will be provided by Kinkaider following the race, for anyone interested.
The deadline to register for the “Run for Your Life” 5k run is May 5, about a week before the run. Tickets for the run are $25. Meal tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids; all proceeds will go to the purchase of a power cot and portable EKGs for the city’s EMS team.
Registration can be done online through a QR code on the attached flyer, which can also be found at sponsoring businesses throughout Broken Bow.
