Relative humidity values dropping down to 10% and strong southwest winds gusting up to 35 mph will lead to critical fire weather conditions. Any fires that may develop have a high probability for rapid spread and may be difficult to control.
UPDATE: 4:01 PM Monday, April 10th
Conditions have caused the fire weather watch originally issued for much of the area to be upgraded to a red flag warning, in effect from Noon to 9pm CT Tuesday for all of southwest and north central Nebraska.
