The Custer County Ag Society will hold two meetings starting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, at the Shooting Sports Building at the Custer County Fairgrounds.
At 7:00, the Fair Board Regular meeting will take place. New business to be discussed at the regular meeting include the Pete Hulburt-Lineman Rodeo, fairgrounds electrical concerns, and concerns regarding horse events.
At 7:30, the Ag Society will Hold its Annual Board Meeting, approving the year-end financial report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, and conducting elections to appoint new Fair Board members.
There are three open seats to be filled this year with Casey Cooksley, Rodney Lamb and Steve Horn electing not to continue service on the board. To be eligible for fair board membership, interested individuals must be a registered voter of Custer County with an interest in agriculture and fair business, and be ready to be a part of an active, hard-working board.
Nominations and election will take place in person during the Ag Society Meeting. Terms for newly-elected members will run through 2027.
