Esch Guilty Of First-Degree Murder; Conviction Carries Mandatory Life In Prison

ESCH— It took a jury around two hours to convict Trent Esch, 45, of 1st-degree murder, use of a firearm to commit a felony, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. Esch will now appear for sentencing on August 19 at 1 PM.

A conviction of 1st-degree murder carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison with no chance of parole.
