Election Day Fly-Around Stops in Broken Bow

Republican elected officials and candidates rallied together at the One Box Convention Center in Broken Bow Friday afternoon, showing a united front on several issues central to next Tuesday’s election.

The event was one of several that have and will take place across Nebraska in the final stretch before Election Day as part of a fly-around tour. The group has planned for 12 scheduled stops across Nebraska.

Present at the Custer County event were Senators Deb Fischer and Pete Ricketts, Gov. Jim Pillen, and Congressmen Adrian Smith and Mike Flood, along with Tayna Storer and Ethan Clark candidates for the 43rd and 41st districts. The group is tagged “Nebraska’s Conservative Team.”

Each group member spoke briefly to the crowd, addressing significant ballot issues and asking for support for conservative values. Those who attended heard many calls to action on Election Day, urging those present to vote and encouraging their friends and family to do the same.

Governor Pillen spent his time at the podium discussing how important the upcoming election is to Nebraska and the United States. He highlighted the slate of ballot initiatives, the two U.S. Senate seats up for election, and the amount of money being funneled into all those races, which he called an attempt to change Nebraska values.
