Eat Delicious Food – Support Amazing Causes!

There will be no shortage of food for causes this weekend, with three different benefits hosting meals Saturday and Sunday.

Breakfast for dinner starts Saturday evening, February 21, when the Comstock Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department hosts their Annual All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Feed Fundraiser. A free will donation will be accepted at the door of the Comstock Community Hall. Pancakes will be served from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in support of Comstock Fire and Rescue.

On Sunday, February 22, the North Park Inclusive Playground Project will host a Pancakes and Silent Auction event at the Broken Bow Municipal Building. In collaboration with Broken Bow Area Rotary and North Park Elementary PTA, pancakes will be served with scrambled eggs, ham, and drinks from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 PM. A free-will donation will be accepted supporting the Project’s mission to build an inviting space for kids of all abilities to play together at North Park Elementary.

The Inclusive Playground Project has gathered several great items that will be available through a silent auction from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. There are items for any interest available – you do not need to be present to win, so long as your bid comes out on top.

Then on Sunday evening, a more substantial meal is being served by the United Methodist Men. From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the United Methodist Church at 1000 South 3rd Ave in Broken Bow will be the site of the annual Roast Beef Dinner. The Methodist Men’s Group will be serving up roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, veggies, rolls and dessert. Dinner is $12.00 for adults.

For a great time of fellowship and a great meal supporting scholarships and outreach, join the United Methodist Men for their annual Roast Beef Dinner.

With plenty of options available to avoid cooking and help out these community organizations, this weekend will be a great time to get out and eat with a purpose.
