The Custer County Ag Society will meet for a regular board meeting tonight at 7 PM in the shooting sports building on the west end of the Custer County Fairgrounds.
Following committee reports, the board will have audit discussions before moving into a longer-than-usual new business schedule.
Following the success of this year’s tractor pull, the board will discuss tractor pull dates for next year. Another event that has been discussed on and off over the years is the possibility of having a demolition derby return to the fairgrounds. The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance tonight to discuss it again.
Other topics tonight include an indoor arena roping chute, the Friend of the Fair award for the Winter Ball, the purchase of a laptop, a second board planning workshop, and the election of 2025 officers.
