Deadline for Melham Foundation golf tournament signup approaching

Signups for the Melham Medical Center Foundation golf tournament are due by this Friday (August 21). The four person scramble, 18 hole event is set for August 29 at the Broken Bow Golf Club.

Melham’s Rebeka Anderson told KCNI/KBBN on Monday that there is still room for more than 10 teams, and that hole sponsorships and donations need to be established before the end of the week as well. She emphasized that prizes of all shapes and sizes are welcome and that they all contribute to the Foundation’s effort.

The $400 per team cost includes lunch as well as the opportunity to play for prizes.

In addition to several flag prizes and prizes for tournament winners, golfers can take a swing at a hole in one competition on hole three, with a stay and play package valued at $1,200 paired with $10,000 as a prize.

Registration on the 29th will take place from 8 AM until 8:45 AM, with a shotgun start at 9 AM. Those with questions about playing in the tournament or contributing via sponsorship or prize donation are encouraged to contact Anderson at 308-872-4124.
