BROKEN BOW – Custer Public Power District (CPPD) will be hosting a free Rural Energy for America (REAP) funding presentation on Thursday, July 20 at its office in Broken Bow.
Presenters will include representatives from USDA Rural Development. The representatives will provide an overview of the REAP program, host a question and answer session, offer one-on-one visits for those interested in pursuing an application, and outline details as to how to start the process.
The presentation will take place at 1 p.m.; according to the CPPD, the presentation may be of particular interest to agricultural producers who are considering converting diesel irrigation wells to electric in the coming year.
There are only 20 seats available; the CPPD says that an RSVP is required to attend. Those interested in reserving seats for the REAP funding presentation should contact Johanna Wassom at CPPD at (308) 870-0783.
The reservation deadline is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18.
