BROKEN BOW – The Custer County Foundation has released a statement announcing the deadline for the spring cycle as Sunday, April 30. Applications must be received at the foundation’s office by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday.
The goal of the Custer County Foundation is to improve the quality of life in the Custer County area by supporting the needs of the communities. Any nonprofit organization that falls under the guidelines of the Foundation’s grant policy may apply for a grant. Funds are usually granted in the areas of civic, cultural, health, education, environmental, or social service fields.
Applications are accepted throughout the year and are considered at the end of each closing date. The next deadline for the fall cycle is scheduled for October 31.
An application may be downloaded through the Custer County Foundation’s website, or picked up in person at the Foundation’s office at 403 South 9th Avenue in Broken Bow.
Applications may be dropped off at the Foundation office during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by mail. Those mailing applications are reminded that they must be postmarked by the April 30 deadline to be considered.
