Custer County Foundation awarding ‘Give 4 Custer County’ checks on Thursday

BROKEN BOW – The Custer County Foundation will be presenting checks to twenty-nine area nonprofit organizations following the final tally of June’s Give 4 Custer County campaign.

The presentation will take place on August 3 at 5 p.m. at Broken Bow’s town square. The foundation will be giving out over $250,000 to nonprofits, $50,000 of which comes from matching funds from the foundation. An additional $2,500 in incentive prizes will be awarded as well.

The matching and incentive dollars were made possible, according to the Custer County Foundation, by the Yanagida Challenge and the Kiewit Challenge.

Following the check presentation, the Custer County Foundation will be sponsoring that night’s ‘Music on the Square,’ and invites the public to attend the event after the checks are presented. A full list of participating area nonprofits can be found below.
