BROKEN BOW – The Custer County Board of Supervisors will hold its first April meeting tomorrow at 9 a.m. on the top floor of the Custer County Courthouse.
The board will discuss minutes, mail, and committee reports, as well as the monthly fee reports for March. A contract renewal with the Department of Health and Human Services will be considered with an addendum, and the board will begin bid letting for a structure replacement in Sargent.
A task order agreement for environmental services and federal aid projects will be considered, as will Resolution #11R-2023, which would authorize Board of Supervisors Chairman Barry Fox to sign that agreement. The supervisors will hear applications to cross the county right-of-way, and award bids for culvert and gravel after having deferred them to the Highway Department at the end of the last meeting.
Resolution #10-2023 will be considered, which would declare certain county property as surplus, and the board will revisit the road reclaimer discussion. Changes to the employee handbook will be presented and considered, and updates will be delivered on the newly-instated cell phone policy. Evan Bartak will present on waste piling before the board, as well.
A full agenda is attached; as always, the meeting is open to the public.
