Custer County Ag Society Moves Meeting to Sunday, December 11

BROKEN BOW – The Custer County Ag Society has rescheduled its regular meeting Sunday December 11 at the Shooting Sports Building on the west end of the fairgrounds at 6 p.m. The meeting was moved due to the inclement weather on Thursday, the Ag Society’s usual meeting day.

The board is expected to hear the financial report, as well as reports from the Extension Office, 4-H Council, and administrator.

In old business, the board will provide an update as to the progress of rendering the grandstands ADA compliant, and hear updates regarding the Mid-States rodeo for 2023-2024.

In new business, the Ag Society will discuss the movement of the 4-H Dog Show to July 22 of next year and talk about the state of the grange building. The board will also discuss employment for the coming year, as well as elect its officers. Finally, the society will work on scheduling two workdays: one to go through Barn 1, and another for January 2023, the purpose of which is undisclosed.

A full agenda is attached.
