The Custer County Ag Society will meet for a regular board meeting tonight starting at 7 PM at the shooting sports building on the west end of the Custer County Fairgrounds.
Following financials and committee reports, the board will continue discussions on the quickly-approaching demolition derby as well as the management of open class entries at the fair.
Several ‘new business’ items appear on tonight’s agenda, including the appointment of a new board member and the election of a board treasurer.
The demolition of the ag hall briefly mentioned at the end of the last meeting is up for more discussion tonight, as are camper spots and food vendors for this year’s fair.
Other topics rounding out the agenda include a name change for the livestock account, the free pit barbeque, and membership to the League of Agricultural and Equine Centers.
The agenda for tonight’s meeting is kept continuously current and open for public inspection in the office of the Custer County Fairgrounds.
