BROKEN BOW – The Custer County Ag Society met for a special board meeting Sunday afternoon at the shooting sports building on the fairgrounds.
The lone item on the agenda was for the board to determine their budget request for 2024-2025 to the Custer County Board of Supervisors.
After a short discussion, the board approved a request of $184,230. The request is $6,230 above the $178,000 granted by the Board of Supervisors last year.
It is likely that the Ag Society’s request will appear on the next Board of Supervisors agenda for their August 13 meeting, or an agenda in the near future.
