According to the National Weather Service in North Platte, near-critical fire weather conditions will be possible through today and into tomorrow. Minimum relative humidity of 15-20% Monday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon.
Winds will be out of the west around 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph on Monday and from the northwest around 15-25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph on Tuesday.
Fires could spread quickly during this time especially in the afternoon on Monday and Tuesday with humidity being extremely low. Lack of moisture will also add to the fire conditions as .61″ of moisture has been measured over the past three months.
