FALLS CITY – Richardson County Judge Curtis Maschman bound 25-year-old Harvey Webster over to district court Monday on a charge of burglarizing the county courthouse.
Webster is accused of ransacking the county clerk's office and making his way to the treasurer's office on Oct. 23.
The second-story window of the clerk’s office was broken, leading investigators to suspect that Webster may have climbed the light pole and scaled the wall to the ledge.
Investigators say a check ledger with the county clerk’s name on it was found in Webster’s backpack prior to his arrest
Arraignment in district court is scheduled Dec. 12.
