In Custer County Court Monday afternoon, two felony cases involving 45 year old Joshua D. Stiebritz of Broken Bow were bound over to district court.
In CR 24-240, the state has charged Stiebritz with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. In CR 25-9, the state has charged Stiebritz with possession of a controlled substance, driving under suspension, not having an operator’s license, violating use of a handheld wireless communication device, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Stiebritz waived a preliminary hearing and Judge Tami K. Schendt bound the cases over to Custer County District Court on March 20th at 9:30am.
In CR 25-41, State v. Jarod F. Scott, age 35 of Broken Bow, the defendant’s lawyer requested a continuance for a preliminary hearing. Judge Schendt rescheduled a preliminary hearing for March 10th at 2pm. Scott is charged with making terroristic threats, domestic violence assault, and two counts of third degree assault causing bodily injury.
In CR 24-197, State v. Cody L. Patterson, the defendant waived his preliminary hearing and will appear in Custer County District Court February 27th at 9:30am.
