BROKEN BOW – The Broken Bow City Council came to order at 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening. All members were present.
The Council approved the consent agenda, including the posted bills and minutes from the October 24 meeting. Dylon Baum is the newest member of the Broken Bow Volunteer Fire Department.
Under new business, the Eagle Crest 2nd Subdivision final plans and specifications were approved.
JEO Project Manager Ryan Kavan spoke about how there will be 31 lots in total. There are about 30,000 total yards of material.
There are three separate bids to install a water main, install a sanitary sewer, and build concrete paving and storm sewers. To install a water main, that will be about $340,000. Installing a sanitary sewer will cost approximately $480,000 and building concrete pavings and a storm sewer cost will approximately be $1,330,300. The approximate total cost will be $2,649,260.
The Council also approved JEO the authorization to advertise for bids.

The council also approved Resolution 2023-17, authorizing the Signing of the Year-End Certificate of City Street Superintendent.
The Council approved JEO Consulting Group, INC. as the City Engineer for 2024.
Ryan Wistisen and Kelly Fortado were appointed and approved to serve on the Park Board for a term ending in 2027.
Luke Wasson was appointed and approved as the Westward Councilmember for a term ending in November of 2024.
The next City Council meeting will be November 28 at 6 p.m. in the Municipal Building. As always, these meetings are open to the public.
