The Broken Bow City Council will be holding its meeting October on Tuesday, October 24 at 6 p.m. in the Municipal Building Auditorium.
The Council will start by approving the minutes for the October 10 meeting.
Under other communications, Darren Toby, Superintendent of Broken Bow Public Schools will be discussing the Broken Bow School Bond.
Under new business, the Council will have consideration of nominating and voting on a new Council President and the Council will also have consideration of appointing Electric Superintendent Blake Waldow as the Director to the Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska (MEAN) Board of Directors and David Schmidt to serve at the Alternative Director. There will also be a public hearing for Resolution 2023-16, One and Six Year plan, and a public hearing for Ordinance 1274, No Parking on the east side of South 19th Avenue between South E Street and South G Street.
Following will include the official pinning of Police Captain Christopher Anderson. The council will have the consideration of approving David Baltz as a Broken Bow Police Officer.
