City Council agenda: March 28

BROKEN BOW – The Broken Bow City Council will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 28 at 6 p.m. in the Municipal Building Auditorium.

In addition to reviewing the bills as posted and the treasurer’s report, the council will consider approving the Broken Bow Volunteer Fire Department’s official roster and officers, as well as a lease application submitted by KaBoomer’s Fireworks.

The city council will also consider approving 2 amendments to the Owner-Engineer Agreement with JEO Consulting regarding the Eagle Crest Subdivision project, as well as approving an agreement with Mid-State Engineering and Testing for geotechnical investigation regarding that same project.

Additionally, the council will consider approving the final $115,000 payment of the Memorial Drive project to Myers Construction in the form of Resolution 2023-2. The council will also consider Resolution 2023-3, which would give the mayor approval to block off streets and parking stalls for reoccurring events.

Finally, the council will consider approving a new liquor license for Casey’s General Store in Broken Bow. A full agenda is attached; as always, the meetings are open to the public.
