BROKEN BOW – Charron Lawn Care has been an area business for over 10 years and has only just now had a free moment to join the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce.
Kyle Charron and his team could be forgiven for being a bit late to the party; he says they’ve been busy providing what feels like a thousand services to as many people.
“Every year between mowing, fertilizing, sprinkler work, aeration, and everything else, I’d say we probably cover a thousand customers.”
Charron Lawn Care currently has 4 employees, which means the math works out to one person per 250 accounts served. The crew also does snow removal during the winter, which keeps everyone busy year-round.
Since the company’s start out of a Broken Bow garage in 2012, Charron Lawn Care has grown in its local presence, services, and most notably its physical footprint; Charron’s team has upgraded its facilities from a garage in town to a 60-foot by 80-foot barn in its first 6 years, with additional plans to expand.
“I moved out here in 2018 because we needed more room. We built the barn the first winter we were out here. We need to build bigger.”
On Friday, for a few rare spare minutes, the Charron crew set aside cutting grass, opting to cut a ribbon instead. Charron’s captain says that finally joining the Chamber of Commerce is the spark his company needs to help expand its reach beyond the 100-mile radius it already serves.
“I just felt that it would get my name out there more than it already is, and it could help give back to the community.”
Charron plans to keep his service and presence as hands-on as possible; Charron Lawn Care can be contacted for appointments and scheduling at (308) 870-0348, which is a direct line to the owner.
