The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Men’s Steak Fry Monday evening, September 16. The local tradition continued to please as nearly 100 attendees gathered for an evening that served up sizzling steaks, hearty sides, and plenty of community spirit.
Chamber Director Stephanie Grafel reported 97 attendees and volunteers gathering at the Broken Bow Golf Club.
Andy Taylor and his team expertly grilled 115 steaks, while Grafel and her cadre of volunteers served 43 pounds of Cheesy Potato Casserole – a particular favorite of attendees – along with 15 pounds of green beans, salad, and rolls.
Grafel credits the event’s success to the dedication of the Chamber’s board members, including Andy Gibbons, Matt Denson, Nicole Shipe, and Tarin Burrows, who oversaw planning and coordination.
The Chamber extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, volunteers, and the Broken Bow Golf Club for hosting the event, and looks forward to welcoming the community back for next year’s Men’s Steak Fry.
