BROKEN BOW-Chamber Bucks with the incorrect bank on them will become invalid after June 1, 2024. Any Chamber Bucks that say Great Western Bank or Tier One Bank can not be used after June 1st, but can be replaced with valid Chamber Bucks of the same value.
In 2022, Great Western Bank became First Interstate Bank. The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce’s account for Chamber Bucks is through First Interstate Bank. Although it has been 2 years since this change, there are some Chamber Bucks that have Great Western Bank on them. These Chamber Bucks have old routing numbers that First Interstate Bank can’t use.

Stephanie Grafel, the Executive Director of the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce, says invalid Chamber Bucks can be exchanged.
“If you have Chamber Bucks that you haven’t used, peek at them. Make sure that the bottom of it does say First Interstate Bank on it. If it doesn’t and it has a different bank, bring them to the Chamber so we can exchange them out and you can get those fresh new bills,” said Grafel.
Currently there is no expiration date for when these invalid Chamber Bucks can be exchanged, but Grafel points out that they may eventually have to limit the time for exchange.
“I’d love to see them in as soon as possible… Right now we are not putting an expiration as to when we will stop exchanging those. We may have to in the future.”
