The Callaway Chamber of Commerce is again calling on members of the community to help recognize those who are making an impact and a difference. Nominations are being accepted for the 2026 Citizen or Organization of the Year award.
The honor, which is awarded annually, is used to celebrate individuals or groups whose selfless dedication, service, and hard work have helped strengthen the Callaway area.
Nominees are evaluated through written submissions totaling 500 words or less that detail how the individual or organization has positively influenced the community. Nominations can also be submitted with letters of support included.
The Citizen or Organization of the Year will be recognized at the chamber’s annual potluck, set this year for April 26.
Nomination forms can be picked up at First Interstate Bank in Callaway (or downloaded below in this story) and must be returned by Monday, April 13 by mail to the Callaway Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 272, Callaway, Nebraska 68825 or in a sealed envelope at the bank.
