Even after being more than 48 hours into Crazy Days 2025, the city of Broken Bow will have plenty available for everyone to keep their Saturday busy.
Morning events include the Donut Dash and the Custer County Classic Car Show, taking place at Melham Park and the Broken Bow square respectively.
Car show returns for 2nd year
Car show organizer Kevin Lindly said that registrations for the show will start at 8 AM, with show hours running from 10 AM to 3 PM. A number of trophies are up for grabs, with the competition to be judged via ballot by everyone from car enthusiasts to children.
“If you like yellow cars, fine. If you like red ones or if you like unfinished ones, you know, that’s (fine), and we encourage people to bring those too because it gives you an idea of what people go through to make these cars look nice,” said Lindly.

Registration to enter the car show is $20 and a raffle featuring prizes from show sponsors will be happening with tickets costing a dollar each. Winners must be present at the end of the show.
A five dollar lunch including hamburgers, chips, and a drink is available inside the Custer County Museum, which the car show proceeds benefit.
Those with questions about the car show can call Lindly at 308-880-1081.

Donuts are the prize at the end of the Chamber’s dash
The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce is bringing back their popular Donut Dash for 2025, with a check-in and route beginning at Melham Park at 8 AM.

“So you can still register the day of if you’re interested and that’s at Melham Park. So it’s just a fun run. But you do get donuts at the end. So there’s at least a reason to do it besides sweating,” said Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Stephanie Grafel.
Registration for the race is $25 and runners will take off at 9 AM.
Dance the night away on the Broken Bow square
The Broken Bow Chamber is also bringing a good time fueled by The Kyle Sayler Band on Saturday night from 7 to 11 PM. The north side of the square will be host to their brand of music branded as “Midwest Rock’n Country”.
“It is free to the public. Come down at 7pm. Enjoy the music. Legends will have a beer garden out there. You’ll be able to dance in the street if you’d like to,” said Grafel, “You can set up chairs on the square. Just come and enjoy and really make it a community event. We really hope to have a good crowd.”
