The Broken Bow Lions Club recently welcomed three new members to their organization. District Governor Wayne Hinerman officially welcomed Tina Hurt, Jan Austin, and Steve Miladinovich. Two additional new members will be recognized at the June meeting.
DG Hinerman also presented Jeanne Grantzinger with an award for her 10 years of dedicated membership to the Broken Bow Lions Club. Jeanne will take over as District Governor in July.
District LCIF Chairperson John Stark was also in attendance and presented Don Wolford with the International President’s Certificate of Appreciation for fulfilling the Mission of Lions Club International.
The next meeting of the Broken Bow Lions will be held at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, June 14 in the meeting room on the west side of the Tumbleweed Café. The Broken Bow Lions Club welcomes anyone that has an interest in being of service to the community to attend their meeting to see if they are interested in joining the club.
