Broken Bow Lions Club receives over $2,000 from local firework, lemonade sales

BROKEN BOW— During a meeting held September 9 at the Broken Bow Library, the Broken Bow Lions Club received donations from a local fireworks stand and a lemonade stand totaling over $2,000.

Torey McMullen, representing Loud & Proud Fireworks, presented the Lions with a donation of $2,045.68 raised through summer firework sales.

Emma Hill set up a lemonade stand outside of the fireworks trailer and raised an additional $70, which she donated as well.

The Lions club thanked both Torey and Emma for their generous donations, which will be used to further local Lions Club programs and causes.
