BROKEN BOW- The City of Broken Bow will have a special City Council Meeting August 1, at 12 noon in the Municipal Building.
For the meeting there are two new business items that will be discussed.
The first new business item being discussed is the temporary closing of streets. Council will have consideration of closing the intersection of North 9th and North C Street for a period of time not to exceed 7 total days, beginning Monday, August 5th and to be completed no later than Monday, August 19th, 2024. The intersection will be closed to traffic in all directions to protect the public from construction hazards and to safely facilitate the school building project.
The other item of new business being discussed is the payment of invoice to JW Auto Sales. Council will have consideration of approving payment of $31,500 to JW Auto Sales for the purchase of a 2023 Ford Police Interceptor Utility Vehicle.
The next City Council meeting will be on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 6 p.m. in the Broken Bow Municipal Building.
