BROKEN BOW- Travelers heading through Broken Bow will have to plan alternate routes for the week, as one intersection in town will be closed.
The closure of the intersection of North 9th Avenue and North C Street, approved at last week’s Broken Bow City Council meeting, is in the interest of public safety from construction hazards from the school building project.
During the meeting last week, Joe Wamsley with Myers construction told council that weather would play a factor in exactly how long the closure has to be present.
The approval given by city council stated the closure should not exceed 7 total days, and that the completion should be achieved no later than Monday, August 19.
