BROKEN BOW – The Broken Bow Fire Department has released a statement regarding Wednesday’s structure fire in the Council Street Area.
According to the release, the department received the call at 3:59 p.m., with trucks containing the blaze and commencing mop-up operations by 4:25 p.m. The last of the crews were released at 7:53 p.m.
The cause of the fire was electrical, and the fire department had 21 firefighters respond to the call, including Broken Bow EMS 5, 2 engines, 1 heavy rescue truck, 1 grass rig, 2 ambulances, the Broken Bow Police Department, and the Broken Bow Utilities Department. The Nebraska State Fire Marshal’s Office investigated the cause of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
